Dr. Dorcas was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa, where she completed her medical degree obtaining her MBBS in 2007. She then relocated to Australia in 2010, obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from the Westmead children's Hospital Sydney in 2011. Dorcas previously worked at the Gladstone Hospital and spent most of her time there on the Paediatric Ward before undergoing further training and completing her FRACGP in 2017. Dorcas has been a part of the team here at GGPSC since 2015. Dorcas enjoys all areas of General Practice but is particularly passionate about Children and Women's Health. Dorcas does provide GP shared care in pregnancy and procedural contraception such as the IUD and Implanon. Dorcas is a mum of 3 and in her free time, she enjoys cooking, singing and listening to music. Available for appointments Monday - Thursday within school hours.
