Ban joined the practice in August, 2014. She completed her six years Bachelor Degree in Medicine and General Surgery at Baghdad /Iraq 1996, graduated from AL-Mustansiriyah University, College of Medicine. She undertook her initial basic training in different teaching hospitals and medical centers in Iraq. She held Medical Officer Positions in rural, emergency and Hospital positions in Iraq. She gained extensive experience working in the Emergency Department at the Royal Hospital in Muscat /Oman for 4 years. She worked as a GP in different private and government positions in Sultanate of Oman. She obtained her Diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health (DOWH) from the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Ireland 2010. She held J Specialist position at Khoula Teaching Hospital/Oman for 2 years before arriving in Australia and has extensive Ultrasound Scan Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Ban holds Full Registration with the Australian Medical Council and she is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She believes in holistic patients centered care helping her clients to achieve their health goals. Her main interests include Women's Health, minor procedures and skin excisions.
